TECHNOPARK PHASE 4 : CABINET APPROVES MINI TOWNSHIP PROJECT
1600 Crores Investment on 30 Acres
Trivandrum : QUAD is an integrated mini township project being developed in Technocity within principle approval of the cabinet for the QUAD project taking place in the 4th phase campus of Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. 1600 crores will be invested on 30 acres including work, shopping facility, housing, hospitals, schools and colleges in the same campus. On completion of the project, 40 lakhs square feet of build-up space will be created. The project will be completed by mid-2025. Technopark will construct an IT office building with an area of 8.50 lakhs square feet on 5.5 acres at an investment of approximately Rs.381 crores.
The building will be constructed using money or loan of Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala will be leased out. The building will have the capacity to accommodate 6000 IT professionals. A mixed-use commercial facility with an area of 9 lakhs square feet will also be set up on 5.60 acres at a cost of Rs 350 crores. Moreover will be constructed 8 Lakhs sq ft IT/ITES of office being developed by IT Co - Developer at an investment of Rs 400 crores on 4.50 acres. 6000 IT professionals can provide employment. There will also be a presidential complex with an area of 14 lakhs square feet on 10.60 acres with an investment of Rs 450 crores. A committee will be constituted to examine the proposal regarding commercial and residential buildings, with the members including IT Secretary Convener, Finance-Revenue – Environment- Local -Government Additional Chief Secretaries and Law Secretary.
